Agrimark Ram Raddle Powder
The traditional Raddle Marking Powder is an efficient powder used to apply on the ram’s chest at tupping time. This is rubbed onto the rams’ chest between the front legs and towards the belly. Depending on the amount of ewes you may need to add more every few days to keep the colour coming through.
The pouch can be resealed after use and it is available in a wide variety of colours.
Directions for use:
Mix with oil to the consistency of a thick creamy paste like ram raddle paint. Apply liberally to the ram’s chest. Check regularly as re-application depends on the number of ewes served each day.
Changing colours every two to three weeks is advisable to see which ewes are repeating. We advise starting with a lighter colour and working through darker colours as the season proceeds.
