Rycoben™ SC
Rycoben is broad spectrum worm and fluke oral suspension for sheep. It is a group 1 white wormer (or benzimidazole) containing ricobendazole and is effective against roundworms (including Nematodirus battus), tapeworms, lungworms and liver fluke. It is the only white drench licensed as an aid in the prevention of cobalt and selenium deficiency.

Dosage & Administration:
The dose rate varies if treating for roundworms, tapeworms and lungworms, or fluke as well.
Assess bodyweight accurately before calculating the dosage. If treating animals collectively rather than individually, group animals according to their bodyweight and dose accordingly, to avoid under or overdosing.
Worm Dose:
Dosage: 5mg albendazole oxide* per kg bodyweight (1ml per 5kg bodyweight). The dosage rates of trace elements are 0.75mg cobalt per kg and 0.08mg selenium per kg bodyweight.

Fluke and Worm Dose:
Dosage: 7.5mg albendazole oxide* per kg bodyweight (1.5ml per 5kg bodyweight). The dosage rates of trace elements are 1.125mg cobalt per kg and 0.12mg selenium per kg bodyweight.
